Argentina: The Struggle for the Full Protection of Human Rights Continues - Implications for the Hemisphere

On Tuesday January 26, 2010, Mr. Morales from the Centro de Estudios Legales y Sociales will present a conference on different human rights in Argentina such as terrorism, freedom of speech and labor unions. This presentation will occur at the Canadian Council for International Co-operation, 450 Rideau Street in Ottawa, Second Floor Boardroom, between 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM.

HRREC Publishes New Monthly Column in Canadian Lawyer

The Human Rights Research and Education Centre has published its first of a monthly column,"Human Rights . . . Here & There", on current domestic and international human rights issues in the Canadian Lawyer. This month's article, "Bill C-300: A road to redemption for mining companies", was written by Professor Penelope Simons.
